Welcome to the JBA's Port Risk Manager service which provides data, tools, guidance and support for ports and harbours seeking to understand and mitigate operational risks, including those arising from climate change.
Users with specific interest in climate change and its impacts can find out more about the most common and significant climate risks for ports and harbours in the Guidance section, along with best-practice information about the risk assessment and adaptation planning methods most commonly applied in this sector.
If you wish to perform your own preliminary risk assessment, the Copernicus Climate Data Store (CDS) contains climate data based on the best available science, provided free of charge by the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S). Information on how to access and use this data can be found in the Guidance section, and there are free tools in the Tools section to enable offline preliminary risk screening.
Alternatively more extensive services and support from JBA are available through the Applications or Contact sections, including port operations simulation/analytics, extensive online risk assessment tools and advice on adaptation planning.
